Massive price reduction, owner says sell!
The Junus is a sailing catamaran built completely out of Aluminium at the french boatyard of J.C. Plaisance in 1990. It has 2 aft cabins with small twin beds and 2 single cabins in the front of the hulls which are presently used as storage compartments. The starboard hull contains the bathroom and heads while in the portside hull there is a pantry with sink, 3 flamed gas stove, gas oven and an electric refrigerator. The bridge cabin (salon) has a seating area with big table. It has 2 fresh water tanks holding 80 Lt. each, a 50 Lt. holding tank for the heads and 75 Lt. diesel tank at each engine. The engines are very efficient and the average consumption is less than 1 Lt. diesel per hour/engine. The rudders are moved by a hydraulic steering wheel or a hydraulic pump driven autopilot. Full battened Quantum 32 m² mainsail with Lazy Bag and 19m² furled genoa. There is a new Quantum mainsail as spare and a 35m² Quantum blister. There is no need for shore power as there is a 280 W solar system for the 210 Ah main batteries on top of the bimini and 20 W walkable solar panel for the secondary battery on top of the salon. The salon features 12 V as well as 220 V outlets powered by a 2000 W inverter. Everything is in good shape and well maintained. Thanks to the layout of lines, jammers and winches it can easily be sailed single handed and is also suitable for beginners in sailing. This boat represents a great opportunity to purchase a real catamaran with 2 very good inboard engines at an affordable price and low running costs. The mooring of the yacht is in a very safe and reliable harbour in Cyprus. It is free of charge and the new owner can continue using it. You can`t go wrong with this catamaran because aluminium is a very long wearing material and does not contain hidden problems like osmoses etc. There was a significant amount of overhaul work carried out in the last 5 years and the yacht is in very good shape and ready to go.
