company History

Brazilian shipyard MCP Yachts entered the shipbuilding market in the early 80 years. International fame helped her get built in 1994, 120 aluminum yacht, represented in the exhibition Nice Boat Show.

Today, the company ranks first in terms of production and size of supply vessels not only in Brazil but throughout South America. 140-footRaffaella II, released in 2013, became the largest yacht from ever built on the mainland.

For almost forty years, the company has launched more than 250 ships. This includes yachts premium for private clients, court, industrial and the defense sector. In each sector shipyards are able to achieve meaningful results, so boats MCP Yachts are popular around the world.

Manufacturing

the Company is located 100 kilometers from Sao Paulo in the small tourist town of Guaruja. The factory has two large production buildings, a crane and a private jetty with direct access to the sea.

Design and development of the shipyard produces its own, and attracts the famous Studio. Many of the projects involved eminent Dutch Vripack, which also worked on one of the latest concepts Yachts MCP — >120-foot superyacht.

Lineup

For the private sector, the shipyard offers polyketone models with length from 23 to 44 meters of aluminum. Model range divided into two series, Motor Yachts (motor) and Sail Yachts (sailing).

Features

Specialists of the shipyard are completely immersed in each project, whether it is the creation of a new boat or refit. For example, in 2004, the company was engaged in the restoration of the 90-foot schooner Atrevida built in 20-x of the last century. The boat wanted to send for scrap, but the company decided to give it a second life and fix it. To this end, the archives were found the original drawings, the yard has built a special hangar for the work, and in 2005, the yacht returned to the sea.
