The shipyard was founded in 1945 by Karl Feltz sen. founded on Finkenwerder and continued by the sons Peter and Karl Feltz until 2009.
In April 2009 this was converted into Feltz-Werft GmbH. The Feltz shipyard became known far beyond Germany's borders for its round-frame sailing yacht series SKORPION. With modern knowledge and many years of experience, the shipyard always works on the satisfaction of its customers.
