Company History

The owner of the German Krake Technology Group, Andreas Crake (Andreas Krake), decided to expand the scope of activities of the company, which was engaged in the development of materials and technologies for automotive, aerospace, shipbuilding industry. For this purpose he acquired the Saxon Builder Bader. Thus began the history of the brand Cathugo Yachts.

Before the rebranding in 2012, the company was called Octagon Yachts. Thanks to its own development, the accumulated knowledge and experience of Bader, the company was able to quickly assert itself.

His first catamaran Yachts Cathugo presented Boot Düsseldorf 2012. The Builder might have chosen a better time to enter the market after the crisis of 2008-2010, the shipbuilding industry was in a weakened state. At the exhibition in Dusseldorf shipyard managed to get multiple orders at once.

Manufacturing
