Bahadır Shipyard was established in Trabzon in 1863. Bahadır Shipyard, which mainly produces fishing boats, served as a subcontractor in the construction of Turkey's first ferry, the Suhulet Arabalı Ferry, from 1864 to 1872.

Bahadır Shipyard, which stopped its operations in 1989, has made significant contributions to the development of the maritime sector by producing hundreds of boats throughout the years it has been operating.

Angel Cengiz Şıklaroğlu, the grandson of the founder Ali Bahadır, took over the business in 2005 with the aim of reviving the company and opening it to the European market. The company, whose products, vision and identity were renewed, was renamed Angel Yachts and moved to Istanbul.

First of all, Angel Yachts started to produce lobster models with classical designs and started to add different models to its product range with the confidence of the success in these models.

Angel Yachts, which keeps its models out of the ordinary lines in terms of both design and colors, uses retro designs and different colors in all of its models.

Angel Yachts, which prefers mass production with the aim of reducing costs without sacrificing quality, instead of producing boutique boats like its peers, has 9 different models between 7 and 26 meters in its production line.

With an annual production of 60 units as of 2012, Angel Yachts ranks first in its class in Turkey and fourth in Europe in classical fiber yacht production.
