Archambault A40RC gives out its purpose at first sight: the huge open cockpit (the length it takes up exactly one third of the boat), two Titan (!) helm, sharp nose with vertical post and highly efficient sailing rig can belong only to a racing yacht. Although the description of the yacht pointed out that this cruising racing boat (racer/cruiser), but this is only a marketing deceit. Of course, it is possible to spend the weekend with family or friends — but it's better to spend it in gambling race. The layout of the cockpit (especially the seat Adjuster of the grotto) may be an example of an ergonomically good decisions. Below deck the space is spacious, but unpretentious — this is clearly not the Ritz. The hull has a rational system of longitudinal and transverse reinforcements, giving it a special torsional stiffness. A high proportion of the mass of the ballast in the displacement of the yacht (48.5%) gives it excellent stability.
