Hamilton Island Marina

Passenger ferry services are based at the Hamilton Island Marina. The 30 minute ferry trip from Airlie Beach departs from two convenient locations at either Abel Point Marina in or Shute Harbour (just south of Airlie Beach), with more than a dozen services throughout the day. Tour operators offering excursions to Whitehaven Beach, the Great Barrier Reef and other Whitsunday Islands are also depart from the marina.   If you’re sailing to Hamilton Island in your own yacht, the Hamilton Island Marina has convenient berths located beside the Hamilton Island Yacht Club. As the base for your boating holiday in the Whitsundays, the Marina has a full range of marine facilities and services.
