Oslo, Norway
2 - 5 Sep 2021

Boats in the sea is an open-air boat show organized by the Norwegian Boats Association Norboat. The fair is held annually in the first half of September and is the largest boat fair in Scandinavia.

Boats in the sea were first organized in 1977 at Solvik harbor in Bairum. In 1985, Norboat Boats in the Sea took first place, and for the next 12 years, both new and old boats were exhibited annually at Solvik Boat Harbor.

From 1998 to 2012, the exhibition was based at Kadettanger in Bairum, and since then only new boats have been shown there.

in 2013, Boats in the sea was transported to Oslo and Suckerbiten by Opraen from Björviki.

In 2014, the exhibition was first organized at the Aker Brygge marina. At that time, 250 boats were on display in addition to 60 yachts on land. The number of visitors was 12,790.

Since then, positive results have been achieved both in the number of boats and in the number of visitors and interested participants.

With its central location in the center of Oslo, a wide variety of restaurants, shops and events, Aker Brygge creates the ideal conditions for boating at sea. Here you can enjoy all the comforts and get the latest news in the field of water sports.
