Regal

American company Regal Boats was founded in 1969 by a married couple Paul and Carol Cook. The husband and wife started the business of manufacturing boats with a fiberglass hull with a search for investments, after which they opened their own business. The ships that the shipyard first launched were a 17-foot trimaran, a sports tow (14-foot) and a cabin boat (21-foot).

In 1971, Paul and Carol expanded the facility to production in Orlando, Florida, despite the fact that the United States was experiencing a crisis in the energy sector. In 1976, the first model boat of the Regal brand was exported.

In 1995, the shipbuilding company created a unique type of hull FasTrac, which was patented. For development, the shipyard was awarded the IMTEC innovation award in 1996. FasTrac is distinguished by a special bottom profile, thanks to which engineers were able to reduce fuel consumption and improve ship speed indicators compared to boats of a similar class, for example Cobalt or Monterey.

The shipyard’s distribution and dealership network covers more than 45 countries around the world, and the leaders of the company are representatives of the second and third generations of the Cook family.

The range of the brand consists of six series of boats from 19 to 44 feet long, each of which is designed for customers who prefer different types of recreation:

• Surf (sports tugs used for wakesurfing and wakeboards);
• Outboard (cruisers and bowriders equipped with outboard motors);
• Sport Yacht (luxury luxury yachts);
• Bowrider (boats with a stationary engine and an open bow cockpit);
• Express Cruiser and Cuddy (flagship models with bow cabin).

The shipyard offers different options for customizing the ship in terms of engines, colors, optional equipment installation, depending on the individual preferences of the future owner. Using a simple designer on the site, you can create your own yacht project.

The company provides free warranty service for the hull, which is valid for five years from the date of purchase.

Thanks to the use of the shipyard’s lighter and stronger Nide-Core composite material instead of standard fiberglass, the manufacturer managed to increase the cockpit area with the same length of the vessel as the competitors.
