Rodman was founded in 1974 by Rodriguez Manuel, the name of which is derived from the first syllables of the surname and name of the founder. Production began with fishing boats, later they began to produce high-speed patrol boats, which brought fame. Over the course of more than 40 years, the Spanish company has grown into the European-level Rodman Group, with shipyards in Spain and Portugal and offices in more than 50 countries.
In the manufacture of boats, fiberglass, composite materials, stainless steel, teak, leather, glass and wood are used. Much attention is paid to the quality of construction, therefore, an internal RQS quality system has been created, including comprehensive control at all stages of assembly and testing on the open sea. This allows us to provide a housing warranty: from damage - 10 years, from osmosis - 5 years.
Rodman manufactures professional boats and patrol boats, boats and yachts for recreation and fishing. Leisure boats are produced in three series: Muse, Fisher & Cruiser and Spirit.
Gliding yachts with flybridge Rodman Musa were developed in collaboration with the Italian architect Fulvio De Simoni and are presented in four models, 13-23 meters long.
Rodman Fischer & Cruiser Series includes yachts in the sportfisher class from 9 to 12.9 meters and boats from 8.7 to 9.5 meters. Model boats are available with flybridge or hardtop for sport fishing and short outings with family or friends.
Rodman Spirit Series is presented in two models with different production options: flybridge or hardtop, with stationary or outboard motors, open model. Spirit 31 features semi-circular sliding and revolving transom doors at the stern that serve as sofas and doors for access from any side.
In 2019, Rodman introduced new models Rodman 33 Offshore, Rodman 890 Ventura and Rodman 1090 Evolution, plans to manufacture Rodman 1290 in 2020 and restyle the Fisher & Cruiser series.
