NAUTITECH CATAMARANS is the company that launched the production of yachts in the French town of Rochefort on the Charente River, just 20 km from the Atlantic coast. Despite its small area, this ancient town is strongly associated with the history of shipbuilding. Indeed, in the distant 17th century, King Louis XIV of France built a fleet in these parts, which later made little France a serious maritime power.
The shipyards were built in 1994 according to the project of the legendary Bruno Voisard - one of the leading French specialists in the field of charter and catamaran business. The first yachts to leave the shipyard this year were 395, 435 and 475 . Already by 2002, Bruno Voisart began to control NAUTITECH CATAMARANS as executive director and form the basic design principles and operating rules of a modern shipyard.
Among the innovative technological solutions at the shipyard are its transition to the vacuum infusion method, which makes structures lighter and, at the same time, increases their rigidity and strength, as well as the exclusive grinding system . Since 2014, the shipyard becomes the property of BAVARIA, and the catamarans produced by it are included in the portfolio of this company. The ships themselves are now being built in Rochefort, and finished parts are supplied from a workshop in Giebelstadt, Germany.
The company has representative offices in Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, USA, Colombia, Turkey, Israel, Russia and other countries, the list of which is constantly growing.
The shipyard produces sailing catamarans of 12-16 meters in length, in three- and four-cabin versions. In 2018 in Düsseldorf, the first 47 Power motor catamaran was presented at the exhibition.
Along with improving the driving performance of the models, the Nautitech shipyard also remembers the comfort of the crew and passengers. According to the design decision of Mark Lombard, the cockpit and saloon were combined on vessels, usually divided and located at different levels. Thanks to this solution, catamarans have become more spacious.
In addition to the number of cabins, the need for other premises on the ship is discussed with the customer, for example, if you need a mini-office or a separate dining room. Athletes can order a surfboard rack or a storage cabinet for any other equipment. For families, on request, children's beds are equipped, for example, on the forepeak.
The number of rudders can also be determined by the customer - Nautitech specialists can install either one rudder or two.
