Anadolu Shipyard

At the beginning of 1950s, the company started to operate in the Taşkızak of Haliç, where the cradle of the Turkish shipyard industry had existed.

Anadolu Shipyard moved to its current location in 1982 and has been active in Tuzla Bay for over 30 years now.

In 2005, a huge investment process was started and the shipyard infrastructure was completely renovated. During the 2005-2007 years, 3 gantry crane which allowed 250 tons with tandem operation are engaged, a new pier of 95 meters long was built and the pier is equipped with crane.

In 2013, 2 blasting & painting halls have been put into operation.

Anadolu Shipyard, which can build ships up to 160m length with 2 slipways, made a strategic decision in 2009 and decided to continue as a civilian shipyard producing navy ships.

The first navy project negotiations started with the Undersecretariat of Defense Industries in 2008 and sthe contract was signed in 2009 for 8 LCT vessels. The LCT ships of class 151, from Ç-151 to Ç-158, were delivered to Turkish Navy during the period between March and August of 2012, on time.

In 2011, Anadolu Shipyard signed contracts for two LST ships and the building started in 2013. L-402 Bayraktar, the first of 2 LST ships, was delivered to Turkish Navy in April 2017, and the second ship L-403 Sancaktar will be delivered in April 2018.

In 2016, Anadolu Shipyard, leaded the region in the field of Quality Management System, by upgrading the ISO 2015 version, as the 1st shipyard doing so, with Bureau Veritas.

Anadolu Shipyard has completed the construction of 226 different ships, 10 of which are navy ships built for Turkish Navy. Anadolu Shipyard, apart from the 10 navy ships built so far, has signed 2 Cadet Training Ship contracts with Qatar Armed Forced in 2018 and achieved to expand its naval shipbuilding activities abroad.
