The Quicksilver brand belongs to the American company Brunswick Corporation, which is one of the world leaders in the production of pleasure boats, marine engines, spare parts and accessories. Along with Quicksilver, the corporation is known for producing boats, boats and yachts under such brands as Bayliner, Boston Whaler and Sea Ray.
Initially, the company gained fame in Europe, engaged in the sale of spare parts and equipment of the Mercury Marine brand. Since 1991, Quicksilver has completely refocused on the shipbuilding industry.
Today Brunswick Corporation is represented in 24 countries and its products are sold in more than 170 markets around the world. As production capacities, the own factories of the American brand are used. For European consumers, the assembly of ships is carried out at the Polish Balt-Yacht shipyard under license.
Quicksilver shipyard is known for its two lines of boats, mainly with a short range. The Activ line is presented by open cabin boats and bow riders for day trips as part of small companies. The Captur line includes boats with a wheelhouse isolated from the external environment, a wide universal cockpit and the possibility of installing fishing equipment.
Quicksilver also produces small budget Captur Fish boats for beginners or fishing enthusiasts, designed for use in coastal waters.
The main specialization of Quicksilver is small boats, ranging in length from 3 to 10 meters, mainly equipped with outboard motors. At a relatively low cost, they have high-quality finishes and wide functionality. Most models are suitable for transporting on a trailer and can fit in a garage.
The creation of a number of models by Quicksilver attracted the famous industrial designer Carsten Astheimer, who participated in the creation of ships for such popular brands as Sealine, Ferrari and Alfa Romeo.
Quicksilver yachts and boats are constantly nominated and win professional yacht competitions, including the Motor Boat of the Year and Power Boat of the Year.
