Galeon was founded near Gdansk in 1982. It was in this year that the Kobylko family began building fiberglass boats in a place called Strazhin. Thanks to their perseverance and diligence, the founders of the brand managed to enter the global arena and win the recognition of users. Collaboration with renowned designers Robert Couro and Tony Castro contributed to the success of the shipyard.
In 2002, the company decided to single out 2 areas of its activity - the production of boats and yachts. All yachts are named Galeon, but boats are branded Galia. Now 10% of all ship sales are on the Polish market, and 90% are sold in Europe, USA and other parts of the world.
The Polish shipyard has about 80 thousand square meters of production area and employs over 1,100 people for the benefit of the company. The brand is known for producing fiberglass boats and yachts from 30 to 78 feet. The company engages leading interior designers such as Tony Castro, who think through everything to the smallest detail. The shipyard's ships feature original portholes, large-scale glazing and bold exterior lines. The shipyard's lineup is represented by 27 vessels and four series. The length of yachts and boats ranges from 9 to 25 meters.
The Galeon company still belongs to the category of a family business, so here they are always sensitive to the little things and details. In 2010, the brand expanded its business and opened another shipyard on the Vistula River. The company has a special pool in which new models are tested and calibrated. The company produces about 2 thousand yachts and boats annually. The shipyard also provides related ship storage services. The company has departments for working with glass, wood and metal, which allows us to implement the wishes of customers in the customization of Galeon ships.
