the Shipyard Sunbeam Yachts was born on the basis of a carpentry workshop, which was more than 170 years - but nevertheless, this family business is still owned by the same family of Sehl. To build a yacht company started in 1950 - then, in obvious reasons, it was a wooden boat with a clinker hull. It went well, and in 1957 a carpenter's workshop was transformed into shipyard (then called Schöchl Werft). Technology has evolved rapidly and now, in 1958, the company started the production of fiberglass yachts using vacuum lamination, and in 1961, mastered serial production and one of the first to use epoxy resin. As a result, in 1962, Schöchl Werft was the first European yacht Builder started the export of its courts outside Europe. Today Sunbeam Yacht is one of the European shipyards with the highest reputation, even though it is located in a completely nahanni and do not sea the country of Austria.
