The inception of the Corporation is considered to be Suzuki in 1909, when in Hamamatsu Japanese entrepreneur Michio Suzuki founded a small factory manufacturing enterprise looms. 11 years later, it received the status of joint stock companies, as well as the name Suzuki (named after its founder). Noting its 80th anniversary, the company changed the President (it was Masao Toda), founded the Foundation for education and culture, has launched a new model — Wagon R Solio Escudo and Grand. And in 2001, the American market came a new model — 7 seater SUV XL-7, the big Suzuki. The company abandoned the use of lead in the painting of cars and motorcycles. A hundred years from a small group of talented engineers working on the looms, Suzuki has grown into a worldwide company numbering almost 15 million people, produces and implements its products in more than 190 countries.
