Remarks :IT IS FAIR TO SAY THAT WE ARE ENTERING UNPRECEDENTED TIMES. THE PRIORITY IS TO KEEP EACH OTHER SAFE. WE ARE BEING ADVISED AGAINST UNNECESSARY TRAVEL SO WITH THIS IN MIND WE ARE OFFERING FACETIME AND WHATSAPP VIDEO CALLING AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO PHYSICAL VIEWINGS.The Seacracker 33 is a fast, stable cruiser racer built initially by the Tyler Boat Company of Rochester to a Van de Stadt design. The hull design is basically a GRP version of the highly desirable Dutch built Trintella IIa which was renowned for her speed and sea keeping qualities. There were only 12 Seacrackers built before the moulds were sold and it was marketed as the industrial sounding Tufglass 33. With her beautiful lines, low free board and fine entry she is a very attractive looking boat with a classic feel. She does require some work to bring her back to her former glory but there is nothing to stop you going sailing in her. Fundamentally the hull is sound, her Nanni engine, installed 2007, provides reliability and her sails will offer good service for many a season to come. Her interior lacks a galley but has 5 comfortable berths and a bright, comfortable saloon.
Accommodation :The boat has been under a small refit and requires a new galley cooking facility and plumbing including water tank and pump. Below decks is bright and clean with comfortable saloon seating area to starboard and a linear "galley" area to port. There is a choice of saloon table with the original wooden drop leaved option or the small round bistro style option. (see photos). There are 5 berths in total with 3 singles in the saloon and 2 in the forepeak. There is a forward facing chart area to starboard situated at the end of the quarter berth. There is a further quarter berth to port. Between the saloon and the forepeak is a heads compartment with marine toilet. Hanging space/cubby storage opposite. Fore cabin in forepeak with below bunk drawer storage. Opening roof hatch for light and ventilation. The saloon is bright and well illuminated from the numerous port lights fitted in the coachroof. The interior is not far off being completed and a buyer will be in the enviable position of fitting it out to their preference.
