This 1954 landing craft was used by US Navy in Korean War. Later she was rumored to be a part of Brown's Navy in Vietnam and later came back to California to be used in the reserve until decommissioned in 1991.
In late 2011 was purchased by present owner who has restored this landing craft including the following:
Wing engines: (2) Rebuilt Detroit 6V-71 engines - 233 hp each with Twin Disc MG506 3:1 gears ( gears are new in Jan 2013)
Center engine: (1) 6V92 - 270 hp with Allison 3:1 gear
(3) 38" 4 blade props

(1) New Yanmar/LIMA 25kw genset in wheelhouse
(2) Auxiliary Diesel gensets - 30kw and 50kw
(1) Onan 7kw genset on deck
