She has cruised the world extensively over the past 50 years and been around the world twice. She is comfortable, sea kindly and stiff. She is stained glass, marble, granite, bronze, and old growth teak. Her insides are hand finished with nine coats of varnish old growth teak. Her Sitka spruce masts and kauri spreaders were completely rebuilt and varnished with 18 coats of ZSpar Flagship. The electrical is all fancy schmancy wire and the newly broken in engine just purrs. She’s ready to go sailing again. Her body has fresh paint that just lays perfectly on her long lines. There’s custom stainless and bronze accoutrements, but don’t get me wrong. She’s a lady, classy like, understated, smart. Her real beauty is in the subtle details. She’s a charmer. We bought her in 2002. We rebuilt her over the course of 7 years, went sailing for another 6. We added to our crew and now we have a life that is so much bigger than having it all, we have to let our Natasha go.
Since we returned to the US and started raising our daughter, we’ve finished most of the rebuild that didn’t get done the first time around. We just finished laying new fiberglass on her decks in October. They’ve been sanded and faired. Her wooden masts were just rebuilt. They’re good for at least another 50 years.

The Sea Wolf interior design is wider and taller than most 38's, it is more like a 40 or 42 (with the handling of a 38). We are 5'10 and 6'3 and we both have clear headroom.
Natasha was built in the first generation of fiberglass vessels and is excessively strong. Bottom paint was a year ago. Keel was reinforced with 2 inches of fiberglass.
***Note hull is fiberglass not wood, teak is interior and trim. Also decks have been replaced with fiberglass.***
