Boat Details

The Sadler 34 is an iconic yacht built in the UK. Easy, predictable handling and comfortable motion have made the Sadler 34 a firm favorite among families looking for a cruising yacht with that added sparkle and the ability to go further than the next marina.

Lying On the Isle of Bute, accessed via a half hourly ferry service from Wemyss Bay near Glasgow.

Hull, Deck & Keel

  • Sadler hulls are substantial, utilising an inner and outer molding with high density cellular polyurethane foam between and inner and outer skin. The outer GRP skin being the hull is laid up to the same thickness as a normal single-skinned boat! The result is a “sandwich”, offering stiffness, positive buoyancy and great insulation.
  • Substantial fin keel.
  • Rudder hung on a 100% skeg.
  • Tiller steering.

Deck Equipment

The deck is largely uncluttered with control lines lead via deck organisers across the coachroof to two halyard winches. The foredeck had good working space and the aft cockpit is very secure with high combings for protection and safety.  All secured with stainless steel pulpit, quarter pushpits and stanchion posts with double guard wires.

  • Cockpit storage consists of a large port locker and aft lazarette.
  • The gas storage locker is separate and has capacity for two gas bottles.
  • Teak laid cockpit seats with varnished margin boards and Teak duck board sole with matching margin boards. 
  • Lewmar electric anchor windlass with warping drum. The windlass has a separate battery and breaker. Opperation is via separate up/down deck mounted controls and a toggle switch in the cockpit.
  • 25kg Bruce style anchor with approx. 60m of calibrated chain.
  • Double bow roller, one for anchoring and one for mooring.
  • 2 x bow cleats, 2 x midship and two aft with fairleads,
  • Stainless steel boarding ladder.

  • 2 x halyard winches. one Lewmar 24 to starboard and one Lewmar 16 to port.
  • 2 x Lewmar 43 2 speed self tailing primary winches.
  • 2 x Lewmar 16 secondary winches.
  • 2 x Gibb 3 additional winches (you cant have enough winches!).
  • Genoa tracks with pin stop cars.
  • Cockpit mainsheet track with traveler and pin stops.
  • 2 x reefing lines lead aft to cockpit. There is still a mast mounted winch to reverse the set up.
