The Riviera 36 Convertible’s classic styling, rugged construction, solid ride and fishability makes her a strong contender in the midsize convertible market. Hull construction is solid fiberglass, and like all Riviera convertibles she was designed with a forward collision bulkhead and watertight compartments for an extra margin of safety. With a recent repower, updated electronics and new generator, this is one boat that is ready for anything and should not be missed.
Extensive refit in 2018 and loaded with desirable features like storage comparable to larger boats, all new Simrad electronics, new Onan 9KW generatorn w/ 800 hrs., new Cummins QSB 5.9 w/ 450 hrs., additional 100 gallon fuel capacity, new custom teak drawers under salon settee, new Lumitec RGB LED lights throughout, three new Lumitec RGB underwater transom lights, 65-gallon offshore bait tank, tuna tubes, fusion premium sound system and 700 GPD water maker.
Accommodations:
Stepping in the galley from the cockpit, you'll find a salon with twelve teak and stainless rod holders on the ceiling and a large L-shaped settee to port with new custom teak drawer storage below. To starboard is another settee that converts to twin and full size bunks with ample storge below. Forward is a bar with storage and electrical panel below. Forward of the bar is the entertainment center with flat screen Smart TV and a new custom collapsible teak TV stand with gas strut and matching teak cover. To Port and down a step, is a well-equipped galley with teak and holly laminate floor and exceptionally large storage hatch below, a refrigerator, 2-burner cooktop, and a convection microwave.
All the way forward is the master stateroom with queen size berth with custom mattress and ample storage. Just aft and to starboard is a full head with Vacu-Flush toilet and a separate stall shower with faux teak non-slip padded flooring.
Cockpit / Deck:
Coast to Coast is Riviera’s Tournament Sport Fisher Edition and has a very large, well equipped cockpit. There is a 65 gallon Offshore bait tank for ample bait capacity, three built-in transom tuna tubes, two transom mount tuna tubes and lots of storage.
Moving forward there is a pair of Pompanette Fiberglass Outriggers, West Coast rails and on the bow is 6-man Switlik Life Raft.
Flybridge:
This 36 features a tournament style helm that has been upgraded with the latest in electronics and has excellent visibility. She was refit in 2018 with new fiberglass/gelcoat, 3 new Evo3 Simrad multi-function displays, Fusion sound system, Simrad HALO Radar w/4' Array, Simrad AP48 autopilot, Simrad Xsonic 1KW transducer, pair of Lowrance StructureScan 3D transducers and two Icom M506 VHF radios.
Forward of the helm is a large bench that converts to full size bed and has been re-upholstered with tan cushions matching the faux teak non-slip and padded fly bridge flooring.
Engines:
Having underwent a complete repower in 2018 this 36 convertible is now equipped with upgraded 380 horsepower Cummins engines and a new 9kw Onan generator. Providing worry-free travel for extended trips or quick get-aways.
