Description

Mechanical Equipment

The vessel is propelled by a 2010 John Deere 6081  turbo six cylinder marine diesel with dry exhaust, connected to a 509 Twin Disc reduction gear,  connected to 3” s/s tail shaft, with attached three bladed bronze propeller. Average speed is 7  knots. Fuel consumption is estimated at 3 gallons per hour, giving an estimated range of 3300  nautical miles, weather and load conditions permitting.

Main engine: 2010 John Deere 6081 AFM75, 8.1L turbo six cylinder marine   diesel (after cooled), with dry exhaust (keel cooled, fresh water   cooled) #RG6081A303381.  

Reduction Gear: Twin Disc MG-5091DC 4.5:1 ratio, #5JE761.  Propeller: Three bladed bronze (not sighted, in water survey only). Alternator: One 32 volt 160 amp; plus one 90 amp 12 volt. Generator: John Deere 4045-DFM50; 10KW 220/110 volt keel cooled, dry   exhaust. 12 volt start; #T04045D897535. 9889 hours.  with, John Deere, Iskara, 14v/75 amp alternator.  Controls: Kobelt digital, dual station (main helm and trolling cockpit).  Steering: Vickers hydraulic, Accu-Steer HM400.  

Inverter/Charger: OUTBACK 4000 watt; model: VFX3232M.  Primary Fuel Filters: Twin Racor 75-900 MAX, very clean, with heat shields (for main   engine); one Racor 500FG (for Generator - see finding).  Air cleaners: Two, AIR-SEP.

 

 

 

Accommodations

Aft of the pilothouse is the galley to port with refrigerator,  microwave oven, single s/s sink, and diesel stove with oven. Opposite the galley is the  cushioned dinette with seating for three (converts to bunk for one person). The enclosed marine  head is aft of the dinette and has a marine toilet and shower. A short companionway leads aft and  down to the aft berthing compartment which sleeps two persons. There is an escape hatch in the  over-head, leading to the aft deck area. The new (2018 inverter is located in the aft berthing  compartment.

DECK GEAR:  

Anchor: Plow 50 kg.  

Anchor chains: 20’ of 3/4”; and 20’ of 1/2”.  

Anchor cable: 70 fathoms, 1” wire rope (new).  

Anchor Windlass: Custom hydraulic (chain driven), 31.5” x 20” drum.  Spare Anchors: None.  

Mast/Boom: All aluminum; forward mast (A-frame) 5.5” x 25’ (est.) with   welded ladder rungs, two 3.5” stay supports and a 4” x 15’, boom   with hydraulic picking winch (Eaton motor), 1/2” double braid   line. Two 4.5”x 25’ (est.) main masts (Cross Tree with ladder at   center) with four 1/2” wire rope stays, and various 1/4” x 3” and   1/4”x 5” angle cross supports. Aft deck house has two   50 watt LUNASEA (aft facing) and six 4’ LED lights at aft cockpit   deck (overhead lighting). 

Cleats: Six, 10” welded steel.  

Bowsprit: 12” steel with roller.  

Bulwarks/rails: Bow, 40” steel rails; 48” at work deck steel rails; 40” aft steel rails;   trolling cockpit is 35” deep; with 38” aluminum railings at aft top   house.  

Fish hold: 12 - 14 ton capacity with raised aluminum coaming, aluminum   stanchions, bin boards, and freezer trays.

Deck and Hull Equipment

This vessel is a forty nine-year old, all steel welded, Canadian built, commercial fishing  vessel, rigged for salmon power troll and long line operations. The vessel is built of good and  adequate scantlings consisting of 1/4” steel hull and main deck, 1.5” x 5” x .25” frames and  beams, and 1.5” x .25” longitudinals. The keel is 1/2”. The vessel had a complete ultra-sound in  2015 with no significant findings. The vessel has a raked stem deep-vee bow, hard chine  displacement hull with rolling chocks, and a square transom aft. There are three bulkheads (two  are water-tight). Forward is the forecastle with hydraulic anchor winch and access to bow  storage and berthing for three. The forward mast with boom (hydraulic winch) has sodium and  halogen lights. Aft of the mast is the large, refrigerated fish hold with bin boards. The fish hold  has raised aluminum coaming with aluminum hatch. Capacity is reported by the owner to be 12  to 14 tons. The aluminum pilot house/deck house is aft and has a dilectric (insulating) barrier  from the steel deck. Water-tight dutch doors enter the pilot house on each side from the walk around deck.
