Surfrider Interceptor powered by a Yamaha ME422 247hp diesel sterndrive engine, complete with an RM road trailer.
A high performance offshore powerboat, with a well protected enclosed wheelhouse and excellent circulation externally with its wide side decks and tall guardrails.
This rather special powerboat was involved in the filming the Bond film ‘The World Is Not Enough’. It filmed the boat chase down the Thames involving the black jet boat and the Sunseeker Superhawk 34.
The boat has been re-engined with a new Yamaha ME422 247hp diesel stern drive - year and hours TBC.
The aft cockpit is clear and spacious, ideal for watersports or photography, with high guardrails on each outside edge. Going forwards, the side decks are wide and deep, with support from the side rails right the way around to the bow, giving excellent access for hanging fenders and securing mooring lines.
The bow has a very useful and comfortable V-shaped seating area with cushions and a large table for picnicking.
Inside the well-protected wheelhouse there are two individual helm seats and two bench seats, with good visibility through the windows. Forwards is a well appointed galley with a hob, sink and fridge, and to starboard is a heads compartment with a sea toilet.
At the helm are the Yamaha engine controls and instrumentation, bow truster control and an Icom VHF radio.
Kos will make a fine family sportsboat, or safety boat for yacht racing, having been previously used as a stable platform for photography.
Includes an RM road trailer.
