This is a great boat
This is a 1977 Schucker designed by James Schucker in Florida. I believe I am the 4th owner. It began its life sailing the eastern seaboard and down to the tropics Several years ago it was trucked to the Pacific Northwest and was owned by some folks in Canada. Its next owners were in Seatle where I purchased it in November of 2019. It is moored now at the John Wayne Marina in Sequim Wa.
The boat is mechanically sound but needs wood work and paint on the upper hull I have only sailed it a few times as I am not very knowledgeable about sailing I am able to raise all the sails by and trim them from the lower deck by the pilot house.by myself The Perkins runs like a sewing machine as does the Genset.
I have made multiple trips to the San Juan Islands under power with no issues. I use my lap top with Coastal Explorer for navigation. It uses just over a gallon per hour and cruises at 7 knots per hour in neutral conditions, less or more depending on tides and wind.
This is a full keel boat and draws 3 1/2 feet. Extensive literature for on board components as well as recent publications for local cruising.
Shown by appointment only, please give at least a 2 hour notice
