Sadie was purchased out of charter from Le Boat in Hesse France in 2016 to prepare for her first voyage in 2017. She has been on a journey each summer except 2020 on the canals of France and the Moselle River and the Rhine. She has performed well without any breakdowns or issues structural or mechanical. The Classique model is a very roomy and stable platform to explore the canals in Europe. She can go anywhere and provide good accommodations for friends and family.
The owners have provided her with the maintenance to have a trouble free transit of the canals and river in Europe. Her low draft and ample beam create a floating apartment on the water. Her sturdy construction and solid gel coat have allowed her to remain an excellent value and very reliable mode of transportation on the canals and rivers. Her built in hull protection allows the captain to be able to moor in remote and in the largest cities as she has been to Paris several times. Easy to care for if you are a remote owner due to the ability to leave her for long periods without ongoing painting and the issues that are common on steel boats.
Sadie has many more years of service and enjoyment ahead and her current owners have taken a new direction as they still stay on the canals to continue to explore the more than 5,000 kilometers of beautiful countryside, villages and cities in their path.
