So $10,000 for a boat worth about $8,000-9,000 on NADA.com? What gives? I'll tell you. This boat is more than just the boat. It also includes a new (2020) Honda 15hp long shaft motor - $4,000 value which has been used so little (motor just gets you in and out of the harbor before the sails go up), that it is essentially brand new. Motor was professionally installed with new motor lift bracket too. Plus an anti-theft motor lock. You'll never buy another motor. Marine battery is new this year (2022) too. Same boat without the motor might be worth less than $10,000, but not with this. What else? New main sail, a $800 value. You buy this boat elsewhere and you get old beat up main sail, and next thing you know, you're buying a new sail. Now, you don't have to. What else? A custom made - 2007 trailer of galvanized steel - $3,500 value. You want to move your boat, or have it stored out of the water? You now don't have to buy a trailer, you get one. Bottom freshly painted in summer 2022. Two jibs a big one and a little one - included, as well as a spinnaker. All the Catalina hardware - including many replacement parts from Catalina. All worth hundreds of dollars, maybe over $1,000. Plus all the little things that add up to money that you won't have to spend - motor cover, main sail cover, spinnaker pole, cockpit seat covers, cabin cushions, cup holders, new teak doors, new life lines, and much more (see list link below). On top of that, this boat has been much loved and well maintained for the past 10 years. She has a few bumps and bruises, but is in great condition for her age. She is a jewel valued at over $20K when you count the value of the other items you won't have to buy, but for sale for only $10K. Only letting go, with heavy hearts, because grandma and grandpa are getting too old to sail.

We live in Twin Cities suburbs. The boat is about to be shrink wrapped on its trailer at the Pepin Marina, about 75 miles away on Lake Pepin - part of the MIssissippi River.
