There is a table that converts to a bed for two. There is also a bunk bed that allows a third person to fit. Head is operational with new macerator and hoses in 2021.
SIMRAD NSE12 on the lower helm and NSS8 on the upper helm. Both are connected so they communicate and allow you to move from the lower to upper helm without missing a beat. I planned to upgrade the radar but once I started using it, I realized this older style radar was really powerful once you learn to operate it. No chart overlay but it picks up a lot of stuff newer radars miss.
New batteries in 2021. Anchor and rode were upgraded in 2022. VHF radios and antennas upgraded 2021 and 2022. Speakers and fusion headunit were added in the spring of 2022. The diesel generator has some corroded wiring at the generator. It will make power but needs the new regulator reinstalled. The boat has air conditioning but needs a pump replaced. It wasn't ever a priority for me but the equipment is there. New electrical disconnects 2022.
The twindisc port gear was replaced in the spring of 2022. The boat also features all the additional upgrades and features that the royale came with including the emergency bailing system. Engine room lights upgraded to LED spring of 2022. Hoses, zincs, water pumps replaced spring 2022.
The entire boat was cut, buffed, polished and waxed in August of 2022. Outriggers we're restrung July 2022. Boat has a removable bait tank and fighting chair.
Electric Oven and microwave both work.
At almost 10 tons the Topaz will handle the roughest conditions for it's size. With a 12 ft beam and high bow, it's truly one of the best built hulls. Easily fishes six people with a full wet head, small kitchenette (cooktop, microwave and sink) and a v-berth for overnight adventures. Owner has made sure all maintenance has been kept up. Features an upper and lower helm so you can converse with passegners. The boat is continuing to be used until surveyed.
Cat 3208 Turbo Engines with 3300 hrs. I usually run her about 25mph. Very comfortable at 20 mph in almost all conditions.
