This boat is a 1966 36' Cheoy Lee sailboat and the first hull offered in fiberglass. It was designed by a Belgian naval architect named Maurice Declercq and was a big winner in many races.
After sailing this gem for many years, i decided to restore it. I removed the teak deck, reinforeced the deck, replaced the engine with a new rebuilt one, rebuilt the transmission, replaced the bilge pumps and put in all new hoses. Both the engine and transmission have less than 5 hours since the rebuild. I painted the hull, decks and interior. This boat comes as a complete package, except for some minor cosmetic rehab. The boat has all the sails (5), spinnaker & boom, sleeping bags, new cushions outside and inside, dishes, pots, pan, silverware.
Also included is a restored Achilles Dinghy with a 4.5 horsepower motor. Unfortunately, all this work has physically destroyed my knees and my rotator cuff. I am no longer able to board the boat. You could set sail tomorrow for the Bahamas or the islands after provisioning it. My loss is truly your gain!!
