A 'BoatFax' report will be provided to any serious buyer. A report will be generated by your choice of one of these three services; boathistoryreport.com, boatfax.com, or boat-alert.com.
We will consider you a serious buyer after you have initially inspected the boat in person or a hired professional service has done this for you.
A quick note from the manufacturer..... "A refined explorer. Wherever your desired destination, reach it in ultimate comfort and confidence with the Regal 28 Express. Along the journey, relax and enjoy the ride thanks to the thoughtful cockpit layout and expansive cabin space down below. Rich in amenities polished with elegance, the 28 Express is equipped for an excursion you’ve only dreamed about."
Now that you've read the canned manufacturer's boring write-up, here's some info from the seller;
This boat is magnificent. It has fulfilled and exceeded our desires and it's time for it to do the same for you. All the great details about this boat can be found at the link below to Regal's website but it doesn't give the personal touch like the experience and amenities that follow here;
One of the best comforts of this Regal 28 Express is the size of the bed. It has a queen-sized bed with all the comfy room you'd need for the overnight or weekend trips you'll be taking. In addition to the queen bed, the forward seating area easily converts to another sleeping area plenty large enough for adults and kids alike.
Our Regal 28 Express has the upgraded Volvo Penta 350 V8 engine, obviously more powerful than the standard 300 you'll see installed on other Regals. This more powerful engine only has 88 hours of use on it. You read that right, 88 hours. You may not find a lower usage anywhere searching for a great boat like this one. The duo-prop on the outdrive gets this boat on plane quickly and gets you near 40 mph within seconds. This big motor gets powered by good ole' petroleum and the 73-gallon gas tank on this boat will be full when you take possession of it, no matter how high inflation gets.
A powerful low-use engine is one thing but when you combine it with the finesse of a joystick-controlled bow thruster, your ability to launch, recover, trailer, dock, or moor alongside your boating buddies becomes infinitely easier. This Regal has it and you'll pretty much be a maneuvering god to other boaters, your significant others, and those that wish they had one.
When you are done being cool and all, chill out on the forward deck sun pad (not pictured, but never used and included) or on the rear lounger. There is plenty of room for everyone looking to soak up the sun. When you're done cooling off in the water, getting back on board is easy with the large swim platform. The cockpit deck area and swim deck are also covered in Seadek foam flooring in a teak wood appearance.
When you get ready to find a spot to anchor off the beach or just be away from wandering eyes, the powered anchor windlass lets you put the large anchor where you want it, when you want to without someone hanging perilously off the front of the boat trying to throw an anchor and risk falling over.
Enjoy air conditioning or heat when you want with the comfort of an installed generator. The generator also helps keep all your favorite devices charged up and ready to post for the world to see how much fun you are having. The full salon enclosure allows you to enjoy this boat in all weather environments.
There is a refrigerator in the salon/cockpit area and one that is standard in the cabin/stateroom kitchen area. The kitchen also has a microwave, electric stovetop, and sink. The bathroom is the largest in the boat's class with six feet of headroom. There is a dedicated shower, solid surface countertops, and black cherry cabinetry. The large hull side windows on both sides of the boat are a beautiful touch, from the inside as well as the outside.
The pictured trailer is included in this deal. Some might say that a triple axle trailer is necessary for a 7700+ lb boat (before gas/oil/equipment etc...) but not when you have 8-inch aluminum beams on your trailer and two 6500 lb axles. This Sea-Tec trailer was built specifically for this boat and its strength is apparent. It has an installed spare tire as well.
The Coast Guard boating safety class has a question... What is the best way to avoid shallow water areas? Using navigation maps! We've got you covered with the installed Garmin navigation system right up front on the helm as is an easy-to-read depth finder.
