The MJM brand and Doug Zurn design is known for first class dry, soft, fast, and fuel efficient ride and for first in class structural composition and construction. They are built to exceed ISO CE standards for Class A Ocean going vessel. The hulls are a high tech composite core cell coring and oven post-cured epoxy for strength and light weight.
The shape of the hull has a Downeast style Carolina flair with a sharp vee entry, lifting strakes for efficiency, natural stability from flat sections aft and a half tunnel for shallower draft.
Decks are white with wide side decks and rails for safety going forward, a large and deep anchor locker with rope and chain anchor rode and electric anchor windlass, two large front windshields which open with recently added electric actuators, and a large cockpit with a full width aft bench in varnished teak. The stbd side of the aft bench is removable for easier access to the swim platform through a transom door. The deck hatch was replaced 2015.
In the helm deck area, there are two opposing settees to port and stbd and each has a huge locker under for storage under. A varnished cockpit table is removable. There are two Stidd helm and companion seats. The settees and the Stidd seats were reupholstered in 2016. Privacy curtains were added on the helm deck and the back enclosure curtains were modified in 2019 along with new stern seat cushions and new side curtains to the pilothouse all in 2019. Teak decks with black Thiocol strips add warmth to this area and are easier to keep clean.
Buyer will find some personal gear on board at the time of their inspection. If something is not specifically mentioned in this listing, buyer should assume it does not convey with the sale but is welcome to ask. Most gear on the boat now will remain.
