The Cobalt 232 embodies all the structural integrity for which Cobalt is known. Expect a hand-laid hull with the proven Hydrolam process and its consequent strength and consistency. Hydrolam calls for one-piece construction of deck surfaces, interior sidewalls, and the floor, creating a liner deck that eliminates the extra weight and the inevitable rotting found in wood construction. The high-gloss buffback gelcoat resists weathering, perpetuating the deep, rich colors which have become the first identifying mark of a Cobalt. The floors, stringers, bulkheads, transom and motor mounts will be made of fiberglass and installed with jigs from fixed dimensions for uniformity and consistent performance.
