ConstructionThe hull, deck, bulkheads and sub-sole are constructed of triaxial, biaxial, and unidirectional fiberglass with vinylester, isophthalic resins. Cored with Divinycell in the hull & deck and Nida-Core in subsoles & bulkheads - all vacuum bagged for stiffness, strength and reduced weight. Kevlar is additionally incorporated into the bow & keel areas. Collision bulkheads with watertight compartments and inspection plates are built into the bows, sterns & keels.
Wetted surfaces below the waterline are solid GRP construction with vinylester resin, and above the waterline in the hull and deck, isophthalic resin is used. In the areas of thru-hulls, chainplates, and deck hardware the construction is solid GRP. All deck hardware is thru-bolted with aluminum backing plates laminated at buildup into the respective location.
Thru-hull fittings and sea cocks are all non-corrosive Forespar Marelon, except engine raw water intakes of brass. The hull-to-deck marriage is done with 3M 5200 marine adhesive/sealant further reinforced with 360-degree unidirectional laminates on the inside of the hull/deck bond for additional structural integrity and stiffness creating a monocoque structure. The hull/deck seam is finished with mechanical fasteners and a heavy-duty vinyl rub rail. Twin high density foam/fiberglass rudders have2" diameter solid stainless steel shafts and an Emergency Tiller is included to attach directly onto the top of rudder shaft.
All stanchions, handrails, cleats, opening ports and hatches, locker hatches, hinges, chain plates, anchor roller, and fuel and water fills are 316 Stainless Steel. All mechanical/electrical and plumbingsystems are designed & installed in accordance with ABYC standards.

Sangaris, our pride and joy since having her built 17 years ago, has been meticulously maintained, is well-equipped for safe & comfortable long-distance blue water cruising with an excellent suite of live aboard amenities, including a significant inventory of critical spares, and is ready to take her new owners & family wherever you might want to travel & explore!
This vessel is a rare single-owner Manta. She spent her first 5 years cruising in the Chesapeake Bay before making 4 round trips in the ICW and offshore to the Bahamas and returning to Annapolis. After the owners relocated full-time to Vero Beach, 5 more trips were made to the Bahamas for a total of 9 unforgettable cruises over 12 years.
Sangaris was the Manta Company Show Boat in the 2005 & 2006 US Sailboat Shows in Annapolis and benefits from having had maximum attention to detail during construction and is outfitted with all optional factory extras including additional shelving, bookcases, Swanstone countertops & sinks as well as teak doors & trim throughout. She also has premium maintenance & cruising systems such as a central RCI-Puratec InLine or Recycle Fuel Polishing System for both Volvo Mains & the NextGen Genset Kubota diesel and Reverso Oil Change Units on both Mains & Genset.
This is an “owners” version catamaran layout with 3 separate berths that sleeps 5 comfortably in 2 aft staterooms on queensized beds and a forward single.
The main salon on the bridge deck contains a well-equipped galley area, top loading refrigerator/freezer, nav-station, electrical panels, dining area and entertainment center. The starboard hull also contains the laundry area and expanded storage. The helm is a true single-handed setup that can be open or fully enclosed with either of the included Strataglass panels or full-screen panels.
