The Hanse 58.8 combines sailing performance with comfort. It boasts a powerful sail plan with a high mast (Mast length ab. WL25.85m) and a second forestay for the code 0 sail.
The cockpit is well protected with an elegant T-top and 2 x cockpit tables, aluminium foot with teak tops, electrically lowerabel into sunbed with covers
She is built to the high standards of Hanse shipyard. Her layout of 4 cabins with 4 WC (electric) plus a skipper cabin up front is ideal for cruising with company or family.
She is equipped with a 12 KVA Fisher-Panda generator ,which is more than sufficient for the 5 AC units( hot and cold ) onboard.( each room has it’s own and the large salon a dedicated one all with electronic controls)
The Engine is 110 Hp. Volvo D3.
The vessel boasts a tender garage with a 2.9 Highfield CL290 tender wearing a 20Hp Suzuki outboard with electric power trim and electric starter.
2 SUP’S find their place on the T-top during the cruising and are out of the way but ready at first need for the adventure seeking person.
There is a full array of electronics plus a Fusion player, in the semi enclosed cockpit and also two electric tables that can be transformed into relaxing sofas.
A two part Besenzoni (hydroelectric, concealed) passerelle is ideal for the usual stern to mooring that is almost a must in the Mediterranean sea.
The Kitchen is well equipped with three fridges and a freezer.
The large salon is well equipped with an electric table and a large screen TV.
A 170lt/h water maker, driven by the powerful generator is more than capable of providing all the necessary water for all the onboard needs.
A dual water pump ( with another single unit in standby ) makes showering and washing up a easy job as it can maintain pressure and flow with two or three showers going on at the same time.
Sails can be easily handled with the two Lewmar 65 electric winches plus 2 Lewmar 55 winches.
The mainsail is approx. 93sqm, the self-tacking jib is approx. 64sqm. There is also a code 0 sail (aprox 120sqm) and a storm jib.
Anchoring is made easy with a 100 m 12mm chain using a 50 kg anchor.
