Aloha Yachtsmen! Kewalo Harbor is a state owned facility run by Almar Management, Inc. since March of 2009, please visit our website at www.kewaloharbor.com. Kewalo Harbor is a mixed use harbor with 140 slips and 800? of loading dock. Slips range from 30? to 100? with a controlled depth of 20?. 30/50/100 amp electrical service and fresh water available. The 10 Acre harbor has a fantastic central Honolulu location with basic amenities. Vessels in the harbor range from the commercial long line tuna and bottom fishing fleets (5%), to fishing and sailing charter operations [home to the largest Blue Marlin ever caught 1805 lbs!] (50%), and pleasure or recreational yachts (45%). All percentages are approximate and subject to change. We welcome multihulls. Fuel is bunkered by truck. Restaurants, banks, shops and movie theaters right across Ala Moana Blvd. Ala Moana and Kakaako Waterfront Parks on either side. Top south shore surfing and diving right outside the harbor. Extensive tropical fish and wildlife right in the harbor. $20 million in harbor upgrades are planned for 2017-2019 with increased capacity and amenities. Kewalo Basin was home to visiting Transpac racing yachts through the 1950’s and now again in 2011! We welcome cruisers from near and far. Harbor staff are boat owners and treat your vessel like we would like ours to be treated. Harbor Office open 7 days a week 362 days a year 0830-1630 hours.
