The Petrozavodsk Club of the Amateurs of water tourism is located on the southwestern coast of the Petrozavodsk Bay, in the waters of which there are many fish of various species (including brown trout, goldfish, European grayling, dace, salmon, pike perch, burbot) and there are even smelt spawning grounds . This yacht port is a great place for lovers of fishing and outdoor activities on Lake Onega. The marina was created to meet the needs of lovers of boating and fishing, who are attracted by the expanses of the lake with more than 1600 islands (the most famous - Kizhi), sunsets and sunrises on it. The most picturesque views have the Chardon Islands, located 25 km from Petrozavodsk.
The club has a fleet of yachts of the Optimist, Buer DN, Cadet, Snowkiting and Cruising-racing yachts classes, measured according to the simplified measurement rules (UPR).
