Karpaz Gate Marina

Karpaz Gate Marina in northern Cyprus holds 5 Gold Anchors, The Yacht Harbour Association's (TYHA) top rating, as well as ICOMIA's Clean Marina standard and, in January 2017, TYHA named it the International Marina of the Year.  Karpaz Gate Marina is the first modern marina in North Cyprus and an Official Port of Entry. The marina is located in a secure and sheltered harbour with CCTV, security personnel and access control, and has an on-site boat yard featuring an 18,000 square metre dry dock with 300-ton capacity travel hoist, 300 berths and the ability to cater for yachts up to 60m. Berth holders and visitors also benefit from duty-free status for further savings on fuel, technical service, spare parts and supplies. APPROACH: The red-white light house (Fl. (4) R 10 Sec.) is located at the west end of the E-W direction laying main break water. The green-white light house (Fl. (1) GR 3 Sec.) is located at the NW end of the SE-NW direction laying secondary break water. The main red-white light house is on the port side while entering the marina. At night, both light houses are visible from approximately 6.5nm in moderate conditions. During the day, the main break water protection wall and both light houses are visible from approximately 4nm in moderate conditions. The red-white light house located at the marina entrance sits 40m above sea level, visible from 6nm in moderate conditions, and from 5nm at night.
