Southerly 42 RST — one of the most successful models of the shipyard, designed by Robert Humphrey, laid the foundations of a distinctive corporate identity and the design features of yachts Southerly. The boat has good speed characteristics, high steepness of the wind, large internal volume. The saloon is very unusual and looks two story: on the starboard side the bottom is placed a long the galley, on the left — raised to the "second floor" C-shaped sofa with folding table. It's a bit unusual at first glance, but it is quite useful in practice — the yacht is partially close to what is called a raised saloon (raised saloon).
