Fountaine Pajot MY 40 is a power catamaran with a flybridge and a swimming platform. The fiberglass hull of the vessel, which has a length of 14 meters, is stable on the water and allows a cruising speed of 25 knots. The interior of the living space of the decks, created by the designers from Pierangelo Andreani Studio, is subject to changes, as well as the possibility of installing additional equipment.
On the flybridge with a hardtop there is a redundant helm station, a second galley, a skipper's chair, a convertible sofa for the passenger and a dining area formed by a table and a corner sofa. A staircase leads from the flybridge to the closed saloon of the middle deck. A recreation area with sun loungers with water-repellent impregnation and a pool bowl is formed on the bow. In the saloon itself, in addition to the main helm station, there is a large galley, a dining area and access via stairs to the cockpit and a swimming platform with a retractable gangway. In the cockpit there is a transom corner sofa with a table, forming a cocktail area.
Living deck in the "Maestro" version: master cabin with one bathroom or two guest double cabins with one shared bathroom, showers and wardrobes.
The Fountaine Pajot MY 40 is equipped as standard with two Volvo engines with 300 hp each. One of the options is to equip the vessel with power plants from this manufacturer of motors with a capacity of 370 hp. Relatively large reserves of 1400 liters of fuel and 450 fresh water make the catamaran an autonomy of 1000 nautical miles.
