The debut of the Bavaria Nautitech 40 Open catamaran took place in 2013, before the merger of Bavaria and Nautitech into a single group. The design of the vessel was carried out by the design studio Roseo Design, together with the famous design master Mark Lombard, who designed the vessel's cabins in the classic French style. The catamaran has received the status of the most compact in the Nautitech lineup and still holds it. The vessel is characterized by panoramic glazing of the entire cabin, a large amount of natural light in the cabins and a glass door in the aft of the vessel, which serves as an exit to the terrace. The cabin of the catamaran is finished in teak and is available in various configurations, at the customer's choice.

The Bavaria Nautitech 40 Open has a spacious cabin with two sofas and a table, a dining area, a small workplace and a kitchen with a stove, double sink, fridge with freezer and storage space for food supplies. On the lower deck there is another relaxation area with a corner sofa and a small table, as well as 4 double guest cabins with a separate bathroom in each of them. For relaxation, there are wide loungers in the bow of the vessel and a shaded terrace at the stern, directly from which you can go to the folding transom with a hydraulic drive, providing convenient access to water. In total, the yacht can accommodate up to 10 people. A tender garage in the stern of the vessel for storing water transport is available to the customer as standard.

The catamaran has two diesel engines from Volvo, with a total capacity of 40 hp, and a fuel tank designed for 300 liters of fuel.

The Bavaria Nautitech 40 Open is classified by B.Sea Craft and can be used to access the open sea.
