The 12-meter motor yacht Bavaria S40 Open was presented at the 2015 Boat Show in Dusseldorf. The ship was designed by the shipyard's design bureau, together with the Design Unlimited design studio, renowned designer Marco Casali and his Too Design company, as well as together with the engineering company Insenaval SL, which worked on the yacht's hull. The fiberglass hull is manufactured using carbon fiber, which significantly reduces the weight of the entire vessel and improves its sailing performance. The yacht received an opening hardtop, glass doors in the stern of the vessel that serve as an exit to the terrace and plenty of natural light in the cabins. The salon is finished with mahogany wood in light colors and is available in several colors at the customer's choice.
The Bavaria S40 Open salon has a dining area with a TV and corner sofa, and a kitchen with a stove, sink, refrigerator, oven and storage space. For relaxation, there are wide sun loungers in the bow of the vessel, as well as a terrace at the stern with a U-shaped sofa. Directly from the terrace, you can go to a hydraulically operated folding transom, which provides easy access to water and, if necessary, can be used as a tender garage for storing water transport. On the lower deck there are two double cabins with one shared bathroom and shower.
Two Mercury Mercruiser diesel engines with a total capacity of 640 hp are responsible for the driving performance of the Bavaria S40 Open. The fuel tank is designed for 750 liters of fuel and the fresh water tank is designed for 250 liters.
The yacht can go to the open sea and be used for sea voyages, which is confirmed by its classification - B.Sea Craft.
