The Bavaria Virtess 420 Fly sailing yacht was presented at the Boat Show in Dusseldorf in 2013, where it received the European Powerboat of the Year 2013 award in the category of yachts up to 14 meters. The ship was designed by the shipyard’s design bureau, together with the design studios Too Design and Insenaval, which endowed the ship with a moderately sporty style. The hull of the yacht was made of lightweight fiberglass, with carbon fiber elements, which led to a significant reduction in the weight of the entire vessel and, as a result, improved maneuverability. The yacht cabins are decorated in a German style and with plenty of natural light. The interior is trimmed with mahogany and is available in several colors to the customer's choice.
The largest flybridge in this class of yachts is equipped with a full control post, wide sunbeds and a folding bimini top. For relaxation, there are also sun loungers in the bow of the ship and a shaded terrace at the stern with a folding table and swivel sofas. Directly from the terrace you can go to the transom with a hydraulic drive, which provides safe access to water and, if necessary, can be used as a tender garage. In the salon there is a control post, a dining area and a kitchen with a stove, oven, grill, sink, refrigerator, as well as a place to store food stocks. For accommodation, three double cabins with two bathrooms are provided. In total, the yacht can accommodate up to 12 people.
Two types of engines are available for the customer: IPS hearths with a capacity of 850 hp, or two diesel engines from Volvo, with a capacity of 900 hp, and a fuel tank designed for 1200 liters of fuel.
The Bavaria Virtess 420 Fly has been classified by B.Sea Craft and can be used to sail on the high seas.
