Nautor's Swan CS 42

This boat appeared a very peculiar way — in 2005 the new York yacht club announced a competition for the design of cruising and racing yachts for club members: the boat had to be fast, well-managed and to have a good handicap in IRC. Their projects at the court of the Committee of the yacht club presented several constructors, in the end the choice fell on the joint project Nautor and Herman Ferra. The ship belongs to the category one design, it was fast enough for racing and comfortable for long cruises. The success of the Swan CS 42 members of the new York yacht club contributed to the growth and global popularity of this boat, although initially such task was not put.
