The Rinker 196 Captiva BR is a one-deck walking bow-rider, produced since 2013. A vessel with a fiberglass hull can be transported on a trailer along public roads due to its relatively short length of 6 meters. The manufacturer of this planing boat with a passenger capacity of 9 people has created several variations of its interior and hull painting. They are offered to the customer along with the possibility of installing optional equipment.
In the bow of the deck there are two sun loungers, chairs, behind them on the midsection of the caddy cabin with front glazing. The middle part of the glass leans back and serves to enter the relaxation area. A captain’s bridge with a steering wheel, a dashboard and a swivel chair is formed here, the same passenger seat is installed on the port side. On the back of the cockpit is a sofa and a sunbed-transformer. Aft swimming platform with stairs for easy entry into the water. The vessel can be operated in the coastal sea line, on lakes and rivers, and can be used as a towing vehicle for waking and waving.
The manufacturer recommends equipping the Rinker 196 Captiva BR with one of the many engines of the MerCruiser or Volvo Penta ranges with power from 220 to 270 hp. With their help, the ship develops a cruising speed of 30 knots, and the maximum speed is 36 knots.
