Rodman Spirit 42 Fly is a planing flybridge yacht, one of the largest boats in the Spirit Range line, designed by Fulvio de Simoni. Length 12.35 meters, width 4.24 meters, accommodates 12 people, designed for access to the sea no further than 200 miles from the coast. Restyling of the model was made in 2013.
Climbing the flybridge up the stairs from the cockpit through the hatch, accommodates a control post with a double armchair on the port side, a sofa and lounge chairs for relaxing. The area with sunbeds for sunbathing is located on the bow, aft - a sofa, access hatches for engines and access to the swimming platform.
In the cabin, on the starboard side, on a raised platform, there is a control post with a double sofa, below is a dining room with a lounge sofa and a folding table. Blinds are provided on the opening portholes, and cleaners are provided on the windshield. The cabin is separated from the cockpit by a sliding door with a curtain over the entire width of the cabin. The control station is equipped with a PRFV dashboard, a compass, an on-board computer, an autopilot and a Volvo Penta control joystick.
The layout of the lower deck includes a master cabin with a double bed, a guest cabin with two single beds and a galley on the port side. In each cabin there are cabinets for things, general lighting, opening portholes and a bathroom. The galley is equipped with a stainless steel sink, stove, fridge and microwave.
On the Rodman Spirit 42 Fly, two Volvo IPS engines with a power of 300-370 hp are installed, which allows you to develop a cruising speed of 25 knots, the maximum - 30 knots. Range of 320 miles.
