Sunbeam Yachts 30.1

Sunbeam 30.1 is the third yacht of the new generation of Sunbeam, designed by well-known (for example, Contest yachts) designer Georg Nissen — this generation still include Sunbeam and Sunbeam 34.2 53.2, which is still under design. Externally the boat is well-developed add-in powerful cool post, well-planned cockpit, and a large number of light hatches and portholes. Closer examination of the performance characteristics shows large fraction of the mass of ballast to displacement and high-power — and it becomes clear that this is a boat that has good speed in the strong wind, designed for an experienced yachtsman. The hull lines are such that the desire of the yacht to drive the gusts of wind are minimized. Interior trim is typical for a Sunbeam — the abundance of red wood, light floor, extra long beds (over 2 meters in length). Aft cabin is placed crosswise to the hull, which gives plenty of space in this compartment.
