Sunseeker 55 Manhattan was represented by a leading British shipyard in the fall of 2013 at an exhibition in Cannes. A new model with an enlarged saloon and a 18.35 m long flybridge replaced the Manhattan 53.
The flybridge has a vet bar and U-shaped sofa, to which you can add a dining table. In the bow there is an open recreation area; optionally, the shipyard offers to install an integrated hardtop.
The location of the galley on the main deck made it possible to equip three cabins at the bottom, on the starboard side you can choose from a sofa lounge chair, an additional wardrobe for storing things or a table. Different wood species were used in the decoration: silver oak, walnut, gray eucalyptus.
Between the cockpit and the galley there is a transparent electric sunroof, which is lowered at the touch of a button. This allows you to combine the interior with open space on the deck. The galley is equipped with a work surface with a built-in wine fridge, in the cabin there is a sofa and a modular folding bench, using which you can create additional places for guests.
Thanks to Volvo Penta D13-800 engines with a total power of 1,600 hp. The Sunseeker 55 Manhattan can move at a cruising speed of 25 knots, while the range without refueling will be 250 nautical miles. The maximum speed of a planing yacht reaches 32 knots.
