Azores

The Azores are 9 islands in the Atlantic Ocean of volcanic origin (in geological terms, they are very young and are, in fact, the top of an underwater mountain range) and taken under the protection of UNESCO. The Azores archipelago is a territory of Portugal, although it is located 750 miles from it.

Each region has its own peculiarities of the yachting season, somewhere acceptable weather is established only from May to September, and in some places it does not close at all.

The number of those wishing to make an unforgettable trip on a yacht in order to see distant exotic countries is growing every year, and even a few decades ago, long sea voyages were available only to experienced sea wolves or big daredevils.
