After owning the 570 for a decade of glorious ocean sailing, the current owner started considering other options within the market and tried out various other vessels in order to find an alternative ocean going catamaran suitable for his circumnavigation needs. However, after realising that he was unable to find anything else as well built as this particular Lagoon 570, he decided that it would be much better to refit the existing boat.
As a result, in 2016, she has been restored with all new equipment, while retaining the integral overall build quality, hand built interior and workmanship of the original CNB build. The cost of the refit carried out in Canet en Roussillon, France was in excess of 185,000 euros.
This four-cabin version with galley down in the port hull has had virtually all essential items replaced – engines, sails, standing rigging, generator, batteries, charger, solar panels, water-maker and more. Her cockpit features twin helm stations positioned aft and outboard, but still protected from the elements.
Originally built in 2003 to the highest specification for an Italian owner who only used the boat for three weeks. She was then laid up until the end of 2005 when she was purchased by the current UK owner who has maintained and restored the catamaran as a thoroughbred ocean cruiser.
Don’t miss this opportunity to acquire an extremely capable and reliable classic ocean cruising catamaran, which has been very extensively restored, for a fraction of today’s build cost.

Miscellaneous
General Remarks: Excellent vessel, cared for meticulously by a fastidious and extremely experienced catamaran sailor, extensive refit work undergone in 2016, a great and rare find.
The Lagoon 570 replaces the eldest sailboat of the line, the Lagoon 55/57, which after more than ten years of service takes a well-deserved retirement. Replacing a legend is difficult, but after 8,000 hours of research, the redesigned model is ready for sea. The 570 has more sail area, more interior volume, better solar protection, and better performance - all the while preserving the best qualities of its predecessor. These include an extraordinary balance between the cockpit and the salon; panoramic visibility from both the interior and the cockpit; precise cabinetry work; and the complete absence of concessions solely to style.
The Company offers the details of this vessel in good faith but cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of this information nor warrant the condition of the vessel. This vessel is offered subject to prior sale, price change, or withdrawal without notice.
Beautiful Lagoon 570 designed by Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prévost at a time when the brand was focused on classic ocean cruising catamarans, with a great balance between performance and comfort. The build quality and finish of this vintage of production catamaran is to an incredibly high standard rarely seen these days.
