This 2001 Princess V65 is powered by twin MAN 1,300 HP engines with approximately 1,550 hours. It includes an ONAN 17.5 KW generator with 2,130 hours and 24 gallon-per-hour Technomar water maker. It reaches top speeds of 38 knots at 2,200 RPM. Its cruising speed is a swift 30 knots at 1,850 RPM. This Princess holds 960 gallons of fuel, 125 gallons of water, and has a 50-gallon holding tank.
The yacht features a fully enclosed, 36,000-BTU air-conditioned bridge/cockpit area with a helm seat and three passenger seats, a full teak deck, a u-lounge seating area with a table for 6, an L-lounge, a counter with cabinets, a grill, a retractable sun top, a refrigerator, and a sliding entry to the interior of the yacht. Just outside the cockpit is a U-settee for dining al fresco under the stars.
The yacht boasts four staterooms, one of which was added during an extensive 2020-2021 refit. With an additional crew berth in the lazarette, this very special V65 comfortably accommodates 6 guests and up to 3 crew, making her perfect for chartering and/or longer guest stays. The yacht has four heads, one doubling as a day head. The staterooms have carpet or holy sole, overhead lights, and outlets. The galley includes a large counter; china, flatware and stemware storage; beverage storage locker; two refrigerators and freezers under the countertop; a flat electric cook top under cover; a dishwasher; drawers; and a full wood floor.
Starboard aft at the bottom of the stairwell to the interior is the Master stateroom. This room contains a walk around queen berth, nightstands, window curtains, overhead lights, a large closet, and a hideaway TV compartment behind the mirror. The en-suite head compartment has teak and holly sole, a Vacuflush head, a stall shower, a molded-in sink, Avonite vanity with storage, a medicine cabinet, a towel ring, robe hanger, and an opening port light.
In the forward interior is the VIP stateroom, which features a 3⁄4 walk around double berth with drawers, overhead lockers, vanity with mirror, a large closet, a Toshiba TV and DVD player, and two opening port lights. The en-suite head features a teak and holly sole, a Vacuflush head, molded-in sink with Avonite vanity and storage, a mirrored medicine cabinet, European circular shower with a teak sole, a towel ring, robe hanger, and opening port light with drapes.
The newly built Guest stateroom, on the port side of the yacht opposite the galley, features a queen berth, a large closet, overhead lockers, and space for luggage storage under the bed. It has two opening port lights. Adjacent to this room is the Guest head, with an electric flush toilet, a sink, and a shower.
The aft port Cabin, perfect for crew or for kids, features two twin crossover bunks, a Toshiba TV and DVD player, drawers, a closet, and lights.
The yacht’s electronics include an ICOM 240E VHF, Raymarine autopilot, log/speed, a 2017 Raymarine HD 4 KW Radar, 2017 Raymarine Hybrid ES12 GPS, transducer, 100RX AIS, a Plastimo compass, Furuno Navtex NX300, an FCC Precision barometer, AF engine controller with synchronizer, bow thrusters, trim tabs, and a Horizon hailer.
Firefighting equipment onboard features 1kg dry chemical extinguisher in the master cabin, two 1kg dry chemical extinguishers in the aft port cabin, one dry chemical extinguisher at the engine room, a .75lb dry chemical extinguisher above the engine room door, and a 2 x FM 200 Fire extinguishing system forward in the engine room by the generator.
The exterior details include side rails, bow rails, aft and bow sunpads, a windscreen brow blind, windshield wipers, a fresh water wash down, plow anchor and rode, Lewmar windlass, a transom locker, four rod holders, bow lockers, an aft deck sun lounge, a teak passerelle, and a swim platform and ladder. The lazarette includes the Onan generator, tool boxes, 3 battery chargers, and a Sea Fire system.
