Description

Built in 2019, “Noor” is an excellent example of the acclaimed 485 HTS from Galeon. This sport oriented, open-deck model, focuses on providing high maneuverability and a thrilling ride while still maintaining an exceptional level of comfort. The layout of the 485 HTS was conceived to offer a convenient and spacious living arrangement. The main deck features a U-shaped sofa, wet bar and a helm station with double seats. The cockpit area is occupied by a U-shaped sofa and can be divided by the retractable glass doors to help keep the elements at bay. Wide sidedecks on both sides lead to the bow where an additional leisure area awaits.

Throughout the accommodations below, an abundance of natural light streams through large windows and skylights. Comfort and convenience have not been neglected: the master cabin, located midship, boasts an en suite bathroom. The guest cabin, forward, has direct access to the common areas: galley, lounge and an additional bathroom.

“Noor” is powered with Volvo’s IPS 600s with fewer than 200 hours, and easily maneuvered via her joystick controls.  A 4-foot hydraulic platform rated for 660 pounds allows for a tender or jetski to be carried aboard.

Aft Deck:

Spacious wraparound dinette beside the salon dinette separated by a disappearing window/door. Slide the single main door then push the button and both the door and the rear window of the salon slide down into the deck. Leaving you with a Salon that opens wide out to the cockpit and a cockpit that flows into the salon.

Enjoy two separate parties, or door/window open and down allowing space for the whole family together. Have your choice, open air or a controlled temperature at the push of a button.  If that's not enough, the oversized tinted glass sunroof opens up from the windshield to mid cabin. Just aft the helm is a wet bar featuring an isotherm fridge.

Helm/Dashboard:

Double-wide helm seat with all your technology conveniently placed, featuring the centerline Raymarine display just below the captains sight line. The Volvo Penta engine monitor on your right with two rows of clearly marked rocker switches within easy reach.

“Controls fall readily to hand”; meaning wheel, gear shift and switches. Comfortably find throttle/shifters and joystick for ease of docking while standing; 6 foot 7 inch headroom in the helm.

Galley

Galeon features a compact “family galley” to store all the necessities. Galeon has created an entire living area around the galley on the lower deck, with leather settee, dining table, large Samsung TV, and large windows with natural light.

The chef enjoys an L-shaped workspace with all the usual amenities; Samsung multi feature Microwave oven, Kenyon two burner stovetop, and Isotherm mini fridge, plus Corian countertop. It’s a great place when you’re in a marina and don’t want a highly visible salon galley.

Master Suite

Once you’re down on the lower level, with light flooding the area from skylights, the master suite is aft providing ample space and headroom. It spans the full beam with a queen berth, large credenza to starboard with six doors opening to multiple shelf stowage and full length closets, a nearly 6-foot-long loveseat to port and a Samsung TV.

Master Head

The Master head is en suite head with folding Lucite doors for the oversized shower stall.

Bow Stateroom

The VIP stateroom also has a queen-sized island berth with storage underneath and, like the master cabin, a Samsung TV. Both staterooms feature full-length hanging closets so pants and dresses have ample room. The bow stateroom, like the rest of the boat, has a lot of natural light, above the bed you have skylights.

Day Head

The VIP has a door to the dayhead and uses a shower curtain with floor drain. The dayhead also opens to the galley area with a second door.

Swim Platform & Garage

Aft features a 4-foot hydraulic swim platform, which can easily carry a tender, although she has a tender garage. The hydraulic platform is rated for 660 pounds. The lowering swim platform has stairs that rise automatically from the teak platform to make reboarding easy.

Forward Sunpad

The sunpad on the foredeck has a buggy-style flip-up sunshade for at-anchor use. Other niceties include the hidden rode locker with a reversible anchor windlass to raise or lower the hook.

Engines

Power is a pair of Volvo Penta IPS 600 pods of 435-horsepower each, which include the joystick controls and electronic vessel control system. A hatch in the cockpit floor opens to the engine room, which is surprisingly spacious thanks to the compact pod drive packages, and there’s room for a Fischer Panda 8 kW genset. She tops out at 32 knots and 44 gph at wide-open throttle, but drops back to an on-plane cruise speed of 17 knots.
